Patients’ stories

Abdul Matin Patowary

Abdul Matin Patowary is a 50-year old businessman. He lives in Ranir Hat, which is 2 kilometres west of Feni Sador, with his family – his wife, 2 daughters and a son. About three years ago he noticed that his eyes felt heavy, and he was unable to read in low light. He was very scared and concerned about his future.
“Will I be able to see anymore?” he thought.  Then, he came to know about Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital from his elder brother, who was happy with the treatment he had received here.
In March, 2013, Mr. Patowary came to the Private OPD of Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital. He liked the environment very much and felt confident. “When I saw the staff taking me to the doctor’s room with wonderful care I felt good. The doctor advised me to have the surgery for cataract.”
The ninth of April, 2013, was a memorable day for me. Everything seemed like magic. I was seeing again. It was so clear. I did not think that I would see this well. With the blessings of Allah, and the cordial help of the hospital, my surgery was successful.”
Now, Mr. Patowary can do all his business easily, which he had had to stop for some time, as he couldn’t see properly.
“I want to give my thanks to the doctors and staff at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital who helped me see well again. Now I can do my work just as I did before. It brings so much happiness in my life.”
